What are the destructive impacts of climate change?

The climate of our earth has the potential to mold the world's history is a well-known factor. It can culturally, biologically, and geographically changes the foundation of the planet. Climate change is not happening for 10-20 years; instead, it is happening now!

Over the last century, the destructive impacts of climate change have increased to a greater extent due to human activities. The global moderate surface temperature was enhanced by approximately 0.7 degrees during the last 100 years, resulting in acute climate change.

Our planet had been facing drastic climate imbalances because of extreme abuse for the last few centuries. Humans are liable for environmental climate change, and that's why they have been encountering its destructive effects.

Therefore, in today's sustainability and climate change blog, we will show you some terrible effects of climate change.

1.  Elevation in sea level:

People who have been staying in the low sea level areas will face a more vulnerable situation as sea level elevation may displace millions of people. Sea level upsurges due to acute global warming, which in turn melts the glaciers and lump more water into the oceans. In the United States, approx 100 million people stay within 3 feet of moderate sea level.

     2.     Changes in the patterns of rainfall:

We all have encountered irregular rainfalls, drought, floods, and severe rainfalls that have become quite frequent for a couple of years. These are all the derogatory effects of climate change. Some places of the earth have been encountering excess rainfall that causes floods, and other places face zero rain, which results in drought.

     3.     Elevated temperatures:

Due to the rise in atmospheric gases by vehicles and industries, the earth's temperature may thrive to 3-10°F by the end of this 21st century. The increase in temperature is the cause of the increase in deaths because of dry and hot climatic conditions. As per the report, the earth's average temperature has been increased by 1°F during the last century.

     4.     Stronger storms:

The probability of natural calamities like hurricanes could rise in future due to the earth's warmer situation. Its intensity will rise and occur more frequently. Such long-lasting and powerful winds will have the potential to shatter communities and the coastal ecosystem.

5.     Outspread of derogatory and contagious diseases:

It is quite expected that dengue, malaria will continue to rise in the future as mosquitoes will find the warmer condition to spread. According to WHO, approximately 150,000 deaths have been reported due to the last decade's heatwaves. The elevating heat waves have given a thrive to heat-related disease, which leads to death more often.

The human-created climate crisis has taken over us, and we only know how to fix it. Therefore, by converting to cleaner, reliable energy sources, and eliminating

carbon emissions, we can again make our world a lively place to live. Join Passionate Earth Project today, and you may also follow our other blogs related to sustainability and climate change consulting, sustainability and climate change in coastal communities, and so on.
